When you zone in the mob is active and ready to be aggroed. If any adds (see below) are left alive too long, the King will eat the adds and heal 5%.
The basic strategy is pretty simple. Tank him in the center, every time adds spawn peel off and assist the MA killing the beast adds and get back on the King.
He has peculiar aggro mechanics based on range to him, so all melee need to try to stay at max range, and make sure that when tanks get charmed or punted away you are ready to fade/defensive disc to stay alive and not eat a death.
King of the Beasts - Casts:
--Call of the Domain - 6 tic single Charm
--Entangling Domain Vines - 2 tic single Root
--King's Charge (Every 40s) - 70k PBAE DD with pushback, 20 range
--King's Quake (Every 50s) - 36k AOE DD + Stun with pushback, 100 range
--King's Roar (Every 70s) - 2 tic PBAE Silence/Melee Silence, 100 range
--King's Slam - 91k single DD with pushback
--King's Toss - 75k single DD with toss
Adds spawn through 2 mechanisms, a timer and percentage based.
3 x a beast - Mix of Unmezzables/Uncharmables/Unstunnables
---Braxi are stunnable/charmable
---Grendalean are mezzable/stunnable
---Selyrah are mezzeable
These spawn every 20% and on a timer. These can go back to back so be ready for a near double wave MA.
